How to Clean?
We designed the Bum Stick so that the applicator can clip off and be sterilized in boiling water.
How to clean:
1. Remove the applicator, rinse it, and then place it in boiling water for 1 minute.
2. Let the applicator air dry completely before reattaching and closing the lid.
For a quick clean on the go, simply use a baby wipe.

What goes into the Bum Stick?
Zinc Oxide
Zinc oxide is a natural mineral that forms a barrier on the skin's surface, which helps to protect it from moisture and irritants in urine and stool. It also has anti-inflammatory and mild antiseptic properties, making it a must-have for nappy cream!
Calendula
Calendula contains antimicrobial and skin repairing compounds for inflamed skin.
It helps wounds heal faster by increasing blood flow and oxygen to the affected area, helping the body to grow new tissue.
Shea Butter
Shea butter is primarily derived from the nuts of the Shea tree and comes out as a fatty substance. This high-quality fat is rich in Vitamin A & E. It is also rich in essential fatty acids including linoleic, oleic, and cinnamic acid. Shea butter also contains anti-inflammatory qualities.
Chamomile
Contains essential oils, flavone derivatives and coumarin. Chamomile flower extracts have a skin-soothing effect and support the regeneration of the skin. Chamomile is extremely gentle and safe for sensitive skin, making it an ideal choice for nappy cream. It has a long history of use in skincare for its non-irritating and gentle nature.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is both a gentle cleanser and nourishing moisturizer. It is full of Vitamin E and other essential nutrients that work to naturally hydrate the skin. It is also rich in antioxidants and has antiviral, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties. It works to counter the bacteria and fungi growth that can often cause nappy rash in the first place.

As much as you'd like! For best results, we recommend using it at every nappy change. It creates a protective barrier against moisture & irritants.
If that is too much, at least use it once per day.

Yes! Our nappy cream has been dermatologically tested and we have made every effort to make it free of anything that may irritate your baby's skin.
You can always do a patch test just to be certain. Apply our nappy cream to a small patch of your baby's skin & wait 1-2 minutes. If redness or irritation develops (we'd be very surprised) please don't continue to use. Please get in touch with us at hello@kiid.com.au.

It depends on how often you use it! Each Bum Stick contains over 300 'pumps' of nappy cream. If you use 2 pumps each time you apply, it will last you over 150 applications.

Yes! It's important to keep the applicator clean. Its designed to clip on-and-off for easy cleaning. You can rinse it, soak it, wipe it or soap it!
Steer clear of cleaning it with any products that may cause irritation to skin.
For something quick, you can just use a baby wipe.
